Relax…. Sit back…. Leave the driving to us. Catch the DIG IT! Garden Bus on Thursday, February 19, for a long-awaited, spring-like excursion to the 34th Annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show.

Three acres of gardens and horticultural goodies will imbue visitors with this year’s theme: The Spirit of Spring.

The show boasts 18 display gardens, many with a focus on organic and low maintenance gardens, native plants and naturalistic design. About 150 marketplace vendors share over 300 booths with plants, garden ornaments, activities, books, seeds, and much more. You can even stow garden furniture under the bus!

And on Thursday, trip-takers will have nine seminars to choose from including headliner Mar Jennings, Emmy-nominated TV Host, best-selling author, and banker-turned life-style expert. Plus, free soil testing at the UConn Co-op booth! (Bring a ½ cup.)

The Federated Garden Clubs of CT presents their Advanced Standard Flower Show, Ports of Call . Their horticulture competition comprises of over 250 judged entries appear like a 12,000+ square foot garden.
